Day in the Life

How I start every morning... a trusty cup-of-joe and my computer. It takes me some time waking up, so I must admit that coffee is a necessity in my life.

I always start with my typical stops at Facebook, BlogLovin, & Answer4Dancers. Then follow to answering emails on all 3 email accounts for personal and work. Confirmed 2 of my Venus dancers for the Bar Mitzvah they were booked on and was off to support my students at their 1st competition of the season!

"Pocket Change"

Competition weekend with Starbound. It brought back some memories. I remember attending Starbound almost every year from the age of 7- 18. And there we were again, competing in my local stomping ground. Seeing familiar faces and studios I once competed against.
I must admit, I do miss those days.

"Nursery Rhymes"
Our infamous number that always has the audience in suspense!

Very happy with all their hard work, Their faces truly say it all. They are born performers!

A long day at competition, but my evening continued with an hour drive up North to Crystal Spring Resorts for the Food & Wine Festivals after party event. Working for our associates Vibrant Promotional Models & Marketing as the Negro Model models for the evening. The event was a stunning pool side party. The even planner did a fabulous job creating sort of a mystical world. Picture model mermaids, birds, body painted tigress, Marie Antoinette's and more!
An eventful day, but a fabulous one!  I am blessed. :)

Negro Modelo costumes were made by us at Venus
I wish I had her job for the evening!

A day in the life

Dance Buzz, a blog I follow had asked readers to participate in her "Day in the life" project. I thought this was a cleaver idea and had to participate. I may want to try this once a month. Every day is different for me, and is why I love what I do.   :)

7:00 am to 1:00pm
Working for "Turn Me" wines as the "Turn Me Sweet" model

I finished with just enough time to arrive at the studio,
but first was in need of a quick boost and a bite to eat!

3:00- 5:00pm
Here I taught my students, solo lessons for competition.
 3 Jazz and 1 Lyrical.

Thank god for left overs!

7:30pm - 10:30pm
Venus Rehearsal at our sponsors, Gold Gym

Just another day in the life...

I was lucky to even find time to eat this day, I tend to plan my day with just enough time to get from one location to the next, not always the best planning. I can't complain, I'm thankful to be busy!
